Do you know about free schools?

My child has been going to the Free School.

Hello everyone, my name is Hoggy(*^^*).

My child was in the 5th grade of elementary school. And she has been going to the "Free School".

フリースクール 大阪

The reason for this was that my child got bullied by her elementary school friends. It has been almost a year since the fourth grade.

  • She was ignored when she try to talk to classmates
  • They didn't play with her by school.
  • They didn't play with her by school.

I was so distracted by my friend's problems that I could not keep up with my studies.

In class, she was thinking too much about her own problems, and the teacher's words fell on deaf ears.

When the teacher interceded in the matter, but it did not solve much.

The heart that children who ignore is the heart that is missing.

They needs to understand the traits of others in order to appreciate and accept the differences in how it see and approach us.

Unfortunately, they never seemed to realize that heart.

I think that ignoring is a form of bullying.

She had become emotionally ill.

She had been unable to go to school many days because of this bullying and had become emotionally ill.

She would come home from school crying every day. And It became darker and darker, too my heart

At first, I did my best to encourage my child.

I listened carefully to the child's opinion. Then, being on an equal footing, we have made a judgment about whether the child's behavior was good or bad.

However, every day, despite my efforts to befriend them, there was no solution.

She had been continued to cry and cry everyday. At last, my heart became as dark as my child's.

we decided to go to a counselor.

Our family became concerned that if they worried any longer, we would become neurotic.....

so we decided to go to a counselor.

Then a change came over my mind.

If I found it difficult, I thought I didn't have to go to school.

There are many other schools. You should go to other schools and be better to make new friends.

This switch in thinking has helped us, parents and child regained our energy.

And I came up with the idea of attending the "Free School".

Six months had passed since I had started to worry.

Free School

My child went to the trial school at the end of November.

After she experienced to the "Free School", she liked that very much and decided to enroll immediately.

"Free Schools" are now often highlighted on the Internet news in Japan.

"Free Schools" It is a Japanese-English term.

The purpose of "Free Schools" in Japan is said by the public to be "schools for children who are not attending school.

In the past, I think "Free Schools" that almost people did not give a good impression.

Now, however, "Free Schools" seem to be turning into good places.

The number of free schools is also increasing enormously.

Why are doing Free Schools increase enormously?

Its reason is because more and more children are not going to school. The reasons vary from child to child.

Bullying, corona disaster, slow of growth, school life not fitting in, etc....

"Free Schools" are places that open the hearts and minds of troubled children, provide affirmation, and teach children to have confidence. As a place of salvation, I believe that free schools are becoming more and more recognized.

School that suited my child's personality !

We decided course, then must to find school that suited my child's personality!

So it was very difficult to find a school that suited my child's personality from a variety of schools.

I checked the free school's website every day when I could find the time.

Fortunately, she decided to enroll at the free school.

My child is not good at studying, so we chose a free school where he could learn at his own pace.

There, the ages of the students varied from early elementary school to junior high school, but the fact that each student was free to spend time there was the reason why my child chose this place!

All of the students are very bright and energetic!!

Matriculation

After much discussion with my family, we decided to enroll at a free school.

Because free schools are not operated by the government, monthly fees and enrollment fees are charged.

Public elementary schools do not require monthly fees or enrollment fees.

There is no charge.

<Costs for free schooling>

Enrollment fee: approx(入学金). 20,000-30,000 yen

Annual registration fee(年間登録料): approx. 10,000 yen

Monthly fee: approx(月謝). 20,000 yen

Lunch, transportation, and event participation fees are not included in monthly fee.

A free school operated by the city of Osaka has been established.

They say there is no entrance fee or monthly fee there.

However, the conditions for entrance into school are strict. I did not like those conditions and quit.

If there are two downsides to Free Schools, they are.
The problem with Free Schools may be that only families with financial means can afford to enter.
And we hear rumors that there are free schools with poor educational policies.

Bullying is a serious in Japan.

Finally, "Bullying" is a serious problem in Japan.

Physical harm is not the only form of " Bullying".

Verbal abuse and not having a place to be oneself is also "Bullying"in my opinion.

It is the hope of parents that their children can live their lives with pride in themselves.

I hoped to know the world know that Free Schools in Japan are helping be troubled children by school life.
