Recommended Japanese Everyday Products!

Japanese souvenirs

Hello, This is Hoggy's Blog!(@hoggyblog1

From June 2022, most countries have eased their entry into Japan, haven't they?

But the current situation is that only group travel is permitted. ( as of June 2022 ).

I would like to go on an overseas trip too.

One of my favorite things to do when I travel is to visit the supermarkets of the country or region and buy everyday items that are only sold there.

If you come to Japan, would you go to supermarkets?

If you have never been there, I urge you to go to a supermarket, convenience store, or drugstore near your hotel or ryokan, buy everyday items that are only sold in Japan, and use Japanese products!

Of course, I hope you buy them as souvenirs from Japan!

So, let's get introduced with the great everyday items I came up with~!

Recommendation1:生醤油 Nama Shouyu

"Nama Shouyu" is a type of soy sauces.

It is "Nama Shouyu" in Japanese and “Fresh Soy Sauce" in English.

Oops, not like the type you see in supermarkets.

The word "生" is printed in Kanji.

"生" is meaned by "Fresh".

This "Nama Shouyu" is a delicious soy sauce anyway.

If you, your friends, or family use soy sauce in cooking, cook with this "Nama Shouyu".

Tastes better all the time!

The container bottle is also ingeniously designed so that the soy sauce can be tasted without oxidization and with minimal smearing.

It is always fresh, so the color of “Fresh Soy Sauce" is very bright and clear.

I always use "Nama Shouyu" for pasta-based dishes, grilled fish, and sashimi.

The bottle is small enough to fit in a suitcase. The unit price is not expensive.

Lots of kanji printed on it, makes it the perfect Japanese souvenir!

Recommendations2:Sanitary products

Japanese sanitary products are very good.

Unlike in the past, many sanitary napkins have a very high absorption rate.

It is good you would choose by design, price, and favorite company. When you are hard to decide, buy by size.

The larger the amount of menstrual blood, the larger the napkin size.

Since napkins are in direct contact with the skin, the excellent thing about Japanese-made napkins is that they are made of materials that are very gentle to the skin.

Japanese sanitary products

Since Japan indicates the size in cm or mm, we recommend that you calculate to inch when purchasing to get the size that is right for you.

However, although they are lightweight, they do not fit into suitcases very well due to their thickness.

Recommendations3:Other than sanitary products

Napkins to keep underwear clean on days other than menstruation. Disposable type.

It is scented but does not smell bad. There is also an unscented version. The unscented version is very Japanese like. It may be.

I would recommend this napkin to those who have slight urine leakage. It is a well thought out product.

I often buy products with the words 「サラサラ」「さらさら」"Sala Sala" or 「涼肌」"Suzuhada" printed in Japanese.

I often buy products with "Sala Sala" or "Ryouhada" printed in Japanese because they make my skin feel a little less stuffy.

Recommendations4:Neutral detergent for dishes

Japanese dishwashing detergents continue to evolve.

It cleans dishes very well. It comes in various scents such as lemon, orange, and muscat.

It's fun. ♪

There are other ways to do this besides washing dishes.

That's how to use a neutral detergent to wash your shoes!

Of course, we only wash shoes that can be washed.

It is easy to use.

Dilute a neutral detergent with water. The shoes are then placed in the solution to remove the dirt.

A rule of thumb is to leave it in water for 30 minutes. Washing with a brush removes dirt very easily and cleanly.

I wash my "Uwagutu" well.

Recommendations5:うわぐつ Uwagutu

Do you know about these "Uwagutu"?

Perhaps the shoes might be only available in Japan?!

"Uwagutu" is these are indoor shoes for school use.

It looks and feel very clean.

They are easy to put on and durable.

You can also draw pictures and letters with oil-based pens on the white shoes, so you can make your own original shoes.

It can buy the "Uwagutu" by Homecenter.

We have introduced products that can be easily purchased at supermarkets, convenience stores, homecentaer and drugstores.  Homecenter and Drugstore are a Japanese word.

These marks are landmarks.↑

Japanese Drugstore is a very safe and secure place.

It is not a scary place.

If the restaurant is near your hotel or inn, you think fun to go there.

Thank you for reading to the end.

I hope things will get back to normal lifes early.

Many thanks (^^)
