Living-in-Japan

Have you prepared for daycare yet? At the very least, you need to prepare this…

Pars3: Preparation & What You Need

Children nap in our daycare center. We provide nap bedding for ages 0-3.

And we have to bring them home on weekends. So we also need a big bag to put the futon in.
Some mothers make their own large bags.

Some nursery school rent futons, so please inquire at t the it.

Parts4: When did the fork set and chopstick set start?

In Japan, forks, spoons, and chopsticks are conveniently sold in one case.

They come in a variety of designs, and are cute, functional and convenient!
The best part is that they can be used up to elementary school age!

I think this case is prepared from the age of 4 or 5.

Also, at age 2, you will need a cup and a bag to hold the cup.

These two items are conveniently sold as a set!

Parts5: Health observation with thermometer

Upon arrival at the nursery, the first thing we do is take your child's daily temperature. This is to ascertain the child's health condition.

Parents are asked to purchase their own thermometer and leave it with the daycare center.

If the child's temperature is too high, he/she will not be allowed to leave the child at the day-care center. Please be sure to return home with your child.

If you are concerned, please consult the nursery staff.

About Growth and Development

Nursery school is a group life.

It seems that more and more parents are concerned about developmental delays in that life.

Unlike in the past, many of them do not worry and consult with us.

I personally think it is a very good thing to consult with them.

Developmental delays can be discussed at ward offices. Do not worry alone.
I hope that you will consult with a childcare worker without worrying.

Is there a daycare center where I can leave my child when he/she is sick?

If you are in trouble, childcare workers and ward office staff are available for consultation.

In Osaka City,

Saturday and holiday childcare,

There are various forms of childcare centers, including Saturday and holiday childcare, childcare for children after illness, and post-illness care.

Although the number of facilities is small, we would like you to remember this as a search word when you are in trouble.

What I want to tell you

I wanted to be of some help to you in your first time in Japanese life.
I would be honored if I could be of any help in raising your child.

Thank you very much!
